This policy describes how Clean Commons Initiative Foundation (“Clean Commons,” “we,” or “us”) handles information associated with cleancommons.org and correspondence about our work.
Information you choose to share
Our inquiry forms ask for your name, email address, an optional organization, and a message. A case inquiry also asks for your city and state. Please provide only a brief, non-confidential summary; do not include sensitive documents, payment details, or private information about other people.
The forms prepare an email draft in your browser. They do not send the form contents to our server or save them in a website database. Opening the draft passes those details to your email application. You decide whether to send it; your browser and email provider may retain drafts or other records under their own settings and policies.
If you send an email, the recipient receives your message, contact details, and any other information you include. The current case and support contact is Ilan Wurman at iwurman@tullybailey.com, a Tully Bailey LLP email address. Messages may be processed and retained in that firm’s email systems, rather than a separate Foundation inbox.
Website visits and technical information
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times to deliver and protect the site. The site’s own code does not set cookies, use advertising trackers, or include third-party analytics. Fonts are served with the website rather than requested from an external font service.
This policy concerns the public website. A development or review preview may also be subject to the preview platform’s own privacy practices.
How we use information
We use correspondence to consider potential cases, respond to questions, discuss support or partnerships, and maintain records of those conversations. Technical information helps operate and secure the website. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a marketing mailing list.
Supporter privacy and sharing
We do not sell, rent, or exchange personal information or supporter lists for fundraising or marketing. This commitment applies to supporter information received online or offline. We are not accepting donations and do not collect payment information through this site.
Information may be handled by people evaluating or responding to your inquiry and by providers supporting hosting, security, email, and recordkeeping. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect legal rights or address a security threat. Other disclosures require your permission.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence as needed to evaluate and respond to inquiries, maintain relevant records, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the purpose of the record and the systems that hold it. Hosting and email providers may retain their own logs and backups.
No website or email system can guarantee complete security. An inquiry is not a secure channel for confidential legal materials. Please review our Terms & Legal before contacting us about a case.
Your choices and requests
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop optional communications. Contact iwurman@tullybailey.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legal obligations require it. We will address requests in accordance with applicable law.

External links lead to websites with their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern those services. We will post revisions here with an updated date and provide any additional notice required by law.
